Paris Saint-Germain 5-0 Saint-Etienne: Ibrahimovic hits hat-trick in inspired comeback
Zlatan Ibrahimovic hit a hat-trick on his return from injury as Paris Saint- Germainthrashed Saint-Etienne5-0 on Sunday.
Saint-Etienne goalkeeper Stephane Ruffier miscontrolled a simple back pass from Jeremy Clement in the 24th minute and was unable to prevent it from crossing the line before he desperately hacked it away, with only a sympathetic handshake from Ibrahimovic to console him.
And that set the tone for a miserable night for the visitors, who were completely outplayed in the French capital.
Ibrahimovic opened his account shortly before half-time with a thumping header and the Sweden international – returning from a rib muscle injury – added two more goals in the second half to take his league tally to five for the campaign.
Those goals after the interval sandwiched a spectacular Edinson Cavani strike as the hosts cruised to a resounding victory.
Defending champions PSG had struggled to recreate their dominant form of 2013-14 in the opening weeks of the new season, winning just one of their first three league matches, but a triumph of this nature is sure to fill coach Laurent Blanc with confidence.
Making PSG's win more impressive was the absence of key men Thiago Silva and Yohan Cabaye, through injury and suspension respectively, while for Saint-Etienne, the result ended their unbeaten start to the campaign.
Blanc made four changes from last week's goalless draw at Evian, as Thiago Motta featured for the first time since Bastia striker Brandao broke his nose with a headbutt in the aftermath of PSG's 2-0 win earlier this month.
Ricky van Wolfswinkel headlined Saint-Etienne's three alterations but predictably it was PSG and Ibrahimovic who threatened first, with the forward testing Ruffier with a low 30-yard free-kick in the 11th minute.
With the game devoid of any real pattern, PSG suddenly took the lead thanks to Ruffier's glaring error.
PSG were indebted to keeper Salvatore Sirigu for maintaining their advantage as the Italian tipped Mevlut Erdinc's well-hit volley over the crossbar 10 minutes before the break.
And the save proved crucial six minutes later asIbrahimovicmet Maxwell's left-wing cross and buried a powerful header past a helpless Ruffier.
Cavani, who had been quiet throughout much of the opening period, stung the palms of Ruffier with a thumping shot from distance three minutes after the interval.
After missing the target with a trademark acrobatic volley,Ibrahimoviccapitalised on a woefully short backpass to round Ruffier and poke the ball home in the 62nd minute.
Cavanithen made it four with a stunning curling effort from 25 yards which flew in off the right-hand post with Ruffier motionless once again.
The keeper ought to have been sent off 20 minutes from time when he tripped Ibrahimovic inside the area, but referee Clement Turpin inexplicably awarded only a corner after the loose ball was cleared by a defender.
Ibrahimovicgot his hat-trick just two minutes later, though, as he ran onto Marco Verratti's pass and slotted a low finish under the hapless Ruffier, before being withdrawn by Blanc to a rapturous reception from the home fans.

Villarreal 0-1 Barcelona: Sandro snatches victory for visitors
Barcelona snatched a dramatic late victory over Villarreal on Sunday as second-half substitute Sandro scored in the final few minutes.
Barca toiled on a poor El Madrigal pitch and against a stubborn home defence until the 19-year-old came off the bench to score a scrappy 82nd-minute winner on his first La Liga appearance.
Lionel Messi, captaining Barca in the absence of Andres Iniesta, wriggled free down the right and his low cross-shot was diverted into Sandro's path by Villarreal keeper Sergio Asenjo, and the youngster stabbed home from three yards.
Asenjo had been in superb form up to that point and was perhaps unfortunate to be on the losing side, while Villarreal also hit the post twice shortly before Sandro broke the deadlock.
The win means new Barca coach Luis Enrique has six points from his two games in charge, following on from last week's 3-0 defeat of Elche, and the 44-year-old will also be buoyed by the return of Neymar, who came on as a substitute for the final half an hour.
Villarreal were without Nigeria striker Ikechukwu Uche due to injury, with Bruno coming in as they effectively played without a centre-forward, while Barca had Javier Mascherano suspended following his red card against Elche.
The hosts had to weather an early storm and Asenjo produced an acrobatic dive to get to a well-struck Pedro shot after he was fed by Messi.
However, Villarreal should have taken the lead on 22 minutes, only for defender Victor Ruiz to fail to connect properly after a wicked cross from the right found its way through to him at the back post.
Barca predictably responded and Asenjo showed great reflexes to tip a deflected Messi free kick onto the post.
Dani Alves - who received a hostile reception from the home fans after last season's racism storm - was enjoying plenty of space out wide while overlapping from the right, but Barca were frustrated in their attempts to force an opener.
Denis Cheryshev showed good pace on the break for Villarreal at the start of the second half and Barcelona survived another scare when back-tracking defender Jeremy Mathieu turned a cross onto his own post.
Normal service was soon resumed as Barca began to dominate possession again, but they were too often reduced to floating in hopeful balls from the flanks with teenage forward Munir failing to make his presence felt before making way for Neymar.
The Brazil star almost scored soon after his introduction, but just failed to force the ball home in a goalmouth scramble before then wildly firing another half-chance over.
Tomas Pina then struck the woodwork for Villarreal, before Messi burst through on the right side of the area and his stab across goal was poked home bySandroto claim a hard-earned three points for the visitors.

Official: Remy signs for Chelsea
QPR striker Loic Remy has signed a four-year deal with Chelsea after the west Londoners met his £8.5 million buyout clause.
As revealed byGoalon Friday, the Blues reignited their interest in the France international after reaching a deal to loan Fernando Torres to AC Milan.
Arsenal made a late move to hijack Remy's move to Chelsea, but soon dropped their interestto pave the way for the striker to move to Stamford Bridge.
Welcome to @chelseafc, Loic Remy! #CFC pic.twitter.com/uJ9lDoJDKW
— Chelsea FC (@chelseafc) August 31, 2014"I feel very happy and very proud," he told Chelsea's official website. "When I heard Chelsea wanted to sign me I said 'let's go' straight away because they are one of the best clubs in the world.
"I remember the amazing atmosphere at Stamford Bridge when I played there for Marseille and I can't wait to play for the first time in front of my new fans."
Remy came close to joining Liverpool earlier in the summer only for concerns during his medical to prompt the Anfield outfit to back out of the deal, and instead he becomes Chelsea's sixth signing of a busy.
The 27-year-old, who scored 14 Premier League goals while on loan at Newcastle last season, will compete for a place in the starting XI against in-form Diego Costa and Didier Drogba.

..It mess gets messier! Pastor Chris Oyakhilome deletes wife from church website + what he said about her!
Previously, the picture of Pastor Chris and his wife, Anita were on the homepage of the website but following the shocking revelation, the wife has been removed from the site.
Also, a few months back, Pastor Chris opened up on the ongoing crisis in his marriage.
Members of the church in the UK had shown concern over Pastor Anita's absence from the church, in which she officiates, since November 2013.
When some church leaders could no longer bear the continious absence of the Pastor Anita from church, they decided to ask the senior pastor on what was happening.
During the meeting, the pastor explained that his wife, Anita wants to take over the church he founded before he married her.
This is the summary of a speech given by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome on May 16, 2014 in a meeting with all UK Pastors and Deacons at Christ Embassy, Bermondsey:
"I am here for your concerns about the ongoing domestic issue with my wife and I know it affects you directly, being the ones under her leadership. This is not an organization or a political party, so it's not a place for you to air your opinion or scrutinize what we do.
We had a vision, started and you joined us. If you don't like what we do, you can get out. Churches where members air their views never grow. Some pastors' wives think when they marry a pastor they are equal to the pastor.
My wife thinks so, as a matter of fact, Rev. Tom was her pastor before I married her and Rev. Ray and Evang. Owase were her leaders long before I married her. How come she thinks she's senior to them now? I already started Christ Embassy before I married her.
I didn't marry her and said we should start Christ Embassy. I was already pastoring. I already set my sail and knew my direction before I married her. I only said come and help me. Be careful of the friends you keep.
My wife keeps friends who bring out the worst in her and help her see the worst in people instead of keeping friends that will help her vision especially as the wife of a global pastor like me.
Bitterness is prolonged and accumulated anger. My wife is always angry and bitter.
Allegations are either false or twisted information. The current situation is not as a result of what I did or what I didn't do.
I didn't do anything to have caused an upheaval. You don't join a woman to fight her husband. I'm not teaching you what is wrong, at least I have two girls who will one day marry and I want to them to enjoy it.

"I'm not an armed robber, I only steal parked motorcycles'- 29 year old suspect!
"I started stealing okadas since 2011, and it was as a result of mixing up with bad friends that I got into the business. It was not my intention to steal.I was an apprentice vulcaniser, but when my master died, I was confused and I didn't know what else to do.
That was when I met this friend who taught me how to steal okada. I do not know where my friend is right now, but in 2012, I heard he had been arrested and was remanded in Kirikiri prison."
Once a thief, I am a thief forever. I used to steal from Ifo in Ogun State and sell to my customers in Mushin, Lagos State. Depending on the grade of the okada, it could be sold between N30,000 and N40,000. I cannot count the number of okadas I have stolen and sold like that.I am not an armed robber. I only steal parked motorcycles especially at night. I used a tool called sibi to unlock them, particularly the Bajaj motorcycle brand."

Things Happening Inside Towns Taken Over by Boko Haram
Nigeria is close to perilous times, due to the activities of Boko Haram. Many people are crying out:
Musa Yakubu's biggest worry was the safety of his septuagenarian uncle who has been trapped in the hilly Gwoza town in Borno since Boko Haram sacked the community and declared it its territory.
"I am very worried about the safety of my uncle. I'm not even sure he's alive because the insurgents may have killed him since he couldn't flee with other residents," he told Saturday Sun in Maiduguri.
Interestingly, Yakubu is not the only one that is disturbed about the condition of residents of Gwoza who are trapped in the town. Governor Kashim Shettima also said his biggest headache was the cruel fate that has befallen the residents.
"Our major concern now is about those who are still in Gwoza town, those who could not run away when the insurgents came. We don't know what they are going through now. It is a difficult situation."Shettima lamented in an emotional speech while addressing thousands of displaced Gwoza residents at an Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp at Madagali, Adamawa State.
Caliphate, according to some Islamic scholars, is an area under the control of a Caliph, believably a successor of Prophet Mohammad as temporal and spiritual head of Islamic community. For Abubakar Shekau and his men of terror, the sleepy town of Gwoza is now a new Boko Haram republic since the attack on August 6. It appears unthinkable but Boko Haram has indeed declared the Gwoza town its new "Caliphate" nearly two weeks after the military pushed out the insurgents from Damboa where they reportedly hoisted their flags. A security source said Boko Haram left the town in ruins, describing the destruction at Damboa as massive and heartbroken. The source said the terrorists did not spare even streetlights. "Almost all the houses in the town were burnt; livestocks, public building, everything were destroyed. They finished Damboa", the source disclosed.
A man, who appeared like Abubakar Shekau, leader of the sect in a video footage released last Sunday, claimed Allah has given them victory in Gwoza town. "Oh people, Allah has given us victory in the town of Gwoza. Thanks be to Allah who gave victory to our members in Gwoza and made it part of our Islamic Caliphate," he said in the video which has attracted outrage from some Islamic scholars who described the claim as unIslamic. Some residents of Maiduguri, who spoke to Saturday Sun, said the black sport utility vehicles backed by the Boko Haram leader in the video footage may have been taken from the Gwoza Emir's palace.
Saturday Sun gathered that the insurgents invaded Gwoza in a fit of rage. For a week, the whereabouts of the Emir, Alhaji Mohammed Timta was unknown until recently when it became clear the traditional ruler survived the terrorists invasion of his palace. Emir Mohammed succeeded his father, Idrissa Timta who was shot dead in May by Boko Haram. Residents claimed they have reported the rumoured plan by the insurgents to raid Gwoza to the security forces but wondered why the terrorists were allowed to carry out the attack unhindered and thereafter took over the town. "We envisaged a serious attack on Gwoza by Boko Haram. We knew it was a matter of time because of the way they have overrun all the communities in the area. They killed our people and forced us to flee our homes," said John Goma, a Gwoza resident taking refuge in Maiduguri.
A police source said most of the trapped residents are either old men, women, children or those who were sick at the time of the attack. They feared some of the trapped women and teenage girls in Boko Haram "new caliphate" may have been sexually abused by the insurgents or turned to their cooks. "They may be harassing the old ones who are too weak to flee to give them information about the military or youth volunteers," says another resident who preferred anonymity.
Expanded territory
Apart from Gwoza town, which is the local government headquarters, Boko Haram has since November 2013, annexed most communities in the area. First, they engaged the military at Pulka, a small settlement that connects the area with Gwoza, and subsequently proceeded to Attagara, Aganjara, Agapalawa, Chinene, Chikede, Gavva, Amuda, Barawa and all the autonomous communities in the area. Hundreds of people were killed as about 3, 000 fled to different parts of the state as well as neighbouring Adamawa State. After the coordinated attacks on these communities, Gwoza was just a fait accompli for the Boko Haram men, a resident of Maiduguri who did not want his name mentioned in the print, said.
With the entire Gwoza local government fallen into Boko Haram's hand, the insurgents pushed further eastward to Gamboru/Ngala, a commercially thriving town at the Cameroon border to expand its supposed caliphate last Sunday in what analysts described as expansionist move. The move led to fierce battle with the security forces, a development which "saw the Nigerian troops charging through the Cameroon borders in a tactical maneuver," according to military authority.
Madagali in Adamawa State where some displaced Gwoza persons are camped by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has also been taken over by the insurgents. Madagali is the closest town to Gwoza.
As at press time, Gamboru is still under Boko Haram control as fleeing residents said the insurgents were moving freely. A security source hinted that the military was making necessary plan to dislodge the insurgents from the area.
The fate of Buni Yadi, headquarters of Gujba Local Government Area, east of Yobe and about 35 kilomtres to capital Damaturu, is also precarious, some Damaturu residents said. The Boko Haramfighters, who are said to be present in the town since late July, are not in a hurry to leave. However, Moh'd Adams, a Damaturu resident whose relations are still in the town, said the insurgents may have left the area. "A commercial driver in the area told me last week that a few residents have returned to Buni Yadi after Boko Haram left, though their houses and property have been destroyed," he toldSaturday Sun on phone, adding: "There are no military presence in the area up till now."
Catholic Church laments
The Maiduguri Diocese of the Catholic Church which covers Borno, Yobe and some parts of Adamawa states, said the church and its members have suffered greatly from incessant Boko Haram attacks. "It is true that terrorists don't have friends but it is abundantly clear that Christians are worst hit by Boko Haram insurgency," Director of Social Communications, Rev. Fr Gideon Obasogie said.
He disclosed that "the whole Madagali town and Catholic parish rectory have been occupied by the terrorists, with many structures and items vandalized." He said some of the worshippers in the area fled while others were not so lucky.
Why the military authority last week said it was declaring a total war on Boko Haram upon the receipt of technologically-driven weapons procured by the Federal Government, residents expressed the fear of worse attacks as the insurgents are increasingly expand their control around the eastern and western parts of Borno and neighbouring Yobe State.

Schalke 1-1 Bayern Munich: Howedes seals controversial point for hosts
A controversial equaliser from Benedikt Howedes denied Bayern Munich as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Schalke at the Veltins-Arena.
Robert Lewandowski opened his Bayern account to put the visitors ahead with a well-worked strike.
Pep Guardiola's side typically dominated possession, but Sidney Sam's free-kick midway through the second half caused chaos in the Bayern box, deflecting off Howedes and into the net.
Replays suggested the ball went in off the Germany defender's arm, but referee Marco Fritz waved away furious Bayern protests.
The result halts Schalke's run of seven consecutive defeats to Bayern, although they remain without a win this season.
Bayern have lacked a clinical side to their game since switching to Guardiola's now-favoured 3-4-3 system, and an inability to break down their opponents will have done little to soothe any nervy fans.
The champions, who handed a debut to Xabi Alonso in the centre of defence, were made to work for their opening-day win over Wolfsburg last week, but rushed out of the blocks within the opening six minutes in Gelsenkirchen.
Philipp Lahm's ball over the top found Lewandowski, who squared to Thomas Muller, only for the striker's first-time shot to be tipped over the bar by goalkeeper Ralf Fahrmann, who was also forced into producing a smart save to keep out Mario Gotze's low drive.
However, Fahrmann was powerless to prevent the visitors taking a well-deserved lead on the 10-minute mark.
A neat one-two involving Sebastian Rode released Lewandowski inside the penalty area, leaving the Polish striker with a simple finish from close range.
Pep Guardiola's side were the only team with a better home record than Schalke last season, but there appeared to be little sign of any advantage for the hosts, who struggled to deal with a controlled first-half performance from Bayern.
It took 27 minutes for Schalke to muster their first attempt, Sam sending a swerving shot just wide from 30 yards.
Manuel Neuer was nearly caught out five minutes before the break, sending a clearance straight to Kaan Ayhan after rushing out of his area, but the teenage midfielder's audacious 45-yard lob went wide.
Schalke showed more urgency within the opening 10 minutes of the second half.
First Julian Draxler powered a header straight at Neuer, before Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting was denied by Jerome Boateng's last-ditch tackle.
And Bayern's defence was finally breached two minutes after the hour mark, when Sam's teasing delivery pinballed around the penalty area before Alonso's clearance cannoned offHowedesand into the net.
Bayern could not channel their frustrations into a winner, with Keller visibly delighted at the final whistle with a result that is likely to dispel any doubts about his job security at Schalke.

Everton 3-6 Chelsea: Costa scores twice in thriller
A clinical double from Diego Costa helped Chelsea withstand a spirited Everton fight back and triumph in a nine-goal classic at Goodison Park.
Costa and Branislav Ivanovic struck inside three minutes to put Jose Mourinho's men in a commanding position but a flying Kevin Mirallas header brought the hosts back into contention before the interval.
A Seamus Coleman own goal on 67 minutes put Chelsea back in control before Nemanja Matic, Samuel Eto'o and Ramires struck within the space of four incredible minutes, but Costa netted again at the death as the Blues held on to preserve their 100 per cent start to the season.
It had been feared that the 25-year-old would miss the match, with Chelsea announcing on Thursday that the former Atletico Madrid talisman had suffered a "minor muscular problem".
And Everton may have wished his name had not been on the team sheet when Costa collected Cesc Fabregas' pass and sprung the offside trap before sliding the ball between the legs of a woefully exposed Howard after just 35 seconds.
Things went from bad to worse for Roberto Martinez's side when Ramires forced the ball through a disorganised home defence to pick out Ivanovic, who in turn found the back of the net - although he looked to have strayed beyond the last defender.
Amazingly, the early drama continued as Howard raced out to collect Eden Hazard's searching long ball and handled outside his area, but the American goalkeeper escaped punishment.
The hosts thought they had pulled a goal back in the 15th minute after former Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku's header struck the crossbar and was turned in by Distin, but the defender was offside.
Distin was then relieved to see a Fabregas strike flash just wide after the Frenchman had got a toe-end on the ball in the 29th minute.
Everton responded, andMirallasbrought them back into the game with an excellent header from Coleman's cross in first-half stoppage time.
Phil Jagielka's careless pass inside his own half almost sent Everton back to square one within seven minutes of the restart, but Costa was thwarted by Howard after racing through on goal.
Chelsea's third did arrive in the 68th minute when Hazard's attempted cutback was turned into his own net by Coleman, only for Naismith to hit back inside 60 seconds with a cool finish after getting in behind a static visiting defence.
Matic's measured strike from distance kept Chelsea on top, though their lead was narrowed when Eto'o seized his moment to keep the pressure on with a close-range finish.
Remarkably, that was not the end of the scoring, as Ramires found the bottom corner with 13 minutes left and then substitute Muhamed Besic's poor first touch handed Costa his second, completing a memorable Chelsea victory.

How to spot a fake Abuja big boy
These guys are always well-dressed with flashy cars. Some of them are even from rich homes. You see them looking like a bag of money, meanwhile nothing in their bank accounts.
There is nothing wrong with looking good and not having money to back it up. There is only something wrong when you are doing it for packaging. Continue...
1.Always with the fake accent:Apparently, this is not exclusive to the babes. The male FABBs use all the accents in the world; British, American and Nigerian accent all muddled up in one. If they are talking to a babe who probably lived in the UK with a British accent, their accent automatically changes just to impress. Please, embrace your Nigerian accent, whether it is an Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa accent, be proud of it. You don't see an American man trying to talk like a Nigerian.
2.He only dates working girls:This is a highly defining character of the male FABB. They do not date jobless babes. If you don't have a J -O -B, then it's onto the next one. They do not want to be bothered about taking care of a babe who's probably still in school or sharing CV about. That is not in their dictionary of potential girlfriends.
3.He drives the flashiest of flashy cars:Warning: Don't be deceived, the car belongs to their father or uncle.
4.He always has a political connection:A typical Abuja boy is always related to some politician or influential person. The politicians are always their uncle but hardly ever their father. Sometimes, it could even be a politician they have met once- he becomes their uncle.
5.He is a mummy's boy:Most of the rich male FABBs live off the wealth of their family who still pay for everything they own. If you know a guy who lives in a very expensive duplex in Maitama but does not have a regular job, check that guy! They probably even get monthly allowance from their parents every month as grown men. Hey, not judging, you do you.
6.He immediately introduces you to his family/friends:Imagine you meet this nice looking guy in Abuja, and before you know it, he has introduced you to his family and friends. In your mind, you are thinking that you are an iyawo (wife in the Yoruba language), not knowing you are girlfriend no. 9.
7.He spontaneously proposes to you after a short period of dating:They tell you that you are a wife material or even propose marriage so they can be living off their new working class babe. You would cook, clean and before you know it, you have turned to their provider. Their food, shelter, and clothing would be taken care of by the working class babe. They start with "Please, borrow me N10, 000, I would pay you back." Next time, it's N20, 000 and then it keeps increasing. Of course, the babe will never get her money back. If you are guilty of this, it's not good o! It should be a joint effort.
8.He only remembers his babe on Thursdays:This is the time to remember all the hook-ups they have forgotten from Monday to Wednesday. They need to get a babe to turn up with during the weekend. If Halima doesn't respond, Salewa will. After all there are many fishes in the sea.
9.He doesn't have a proper job:This is not referring to the guys who genuinely work/hustle for their money from Monday to Friday to make ends meet. Thumbs up! This is for the guys who claim they work during the week but people still cannot point a finger on what they do. On Friday, they would be the first to update their status with: "Turn up weekend, TGIF".
10.He's always the first to pop bottles in the club:They are always the first to order bottles just to impress. When it's time to pay, they would remember they have to go to the bathroom. It's not by force to pop champagne. After popping and being forced to pay, they come home to eat noodles. Bear in mind that the money would have bought you a nice plate of jollof rice and a big fat chicken.
So, there you have the Fake Abuja Big Boy, FABB away.

EXPOSED: Powerful Nigerians Don’t Want Chibok Girls Back
This shocking revelation was made by the fearless Shehu Sani, who is the President, Civil Rights Congress, in an exclusive chat with Punch. He has been involved in efforts to get government and Boko Haram to discuss the fate of the girls in the past, and knows all that is going on.
He said the the powerful individuals have ensured that the talks to secure the girl's release derailed.
Shehu Sani's disclosure came even as the federal government has once again begun fresh talks with the dreaded Boko Haram sect to secure the release of the young girls.
According to Punch, reports have claimed that the girls have been sighted in camps inside Sambisa Forest, in some border towns near Cameroon and in the Central African Republic.
President Olusegun Obasanjo, Shehu Sani, and a United Arab Emirates-based Nigerian freelance journalist, Ahmad Salkida, who had communication channels with Boko Haram, had offered to mediate between the government and the sect.
But some men close to the Presidency always frustrates their efforts. But Obasanjo is set to try again.
There are speculations that recently President Goodluck Jonathan and Obasanjo held a meeting to discuss how to negotiate the release of the girls.
Sani, who is one of the negotiators facilitating the current talks, said:
"What I want to tell you is that something is being done about it but I'm not disposed to making it public. Most times, publicising these issues always lead to sabotage by those who do not want the girls freed. I will not mention the names of these Nigerians.
"However, I can tell you that real and genuine moves are going on, which I am a part of. The claim that the girls have been abandoned is not true. There are genuine efforts by government and some individuals, who are discreetly making efforts toward getting their (pupils') safe return home."
Sani noted that the girls could only be freed either forcefully or through dialogue and negotiation.
