Earlier in the year, the couple had their introduction ceremony between both families in Abuja, and would walk down the aisle on Saturday, November 1st, 2014, at NECA Hall, Olowopopo Drive, by Marwa Gardens, Ikeja, Lagos.
Oyeyemi, who is the first born of the family and currently works in the Commercial Department of Etisalat met beautiful Fidelia when she was working as a Medical Scientist in Asokoro Hospital, Abuja while he was with Towncriers as a Sales Supervisor.
The relationship that has spanned six years continued even when Fidelia proceeded to the United Kingdom for her Master's Degree programme. "That's when she met my mum in London. I remember when I told mum about Fidelia, she was so excited, it's every mother's joy to hear and meet someone who would play the role of another mother to his son. She was really overwhelmed to meet her. When they met they liked each other and when I told my mum I wanted to marry her, she told go ahead. So, I proposed to her when she finished her Master's."
Equally excited is Sola Sobowale. " It's a great moment for me. I'm really excited, so full of joy that in my life, my first born is getting married to a well-cultured and educated lady. They love each other and I can't wait for the D-day. It's every parent's joy, come share the joy of a mother with me."
Several stars are expected to turn up and honour the couple.
