Nigeria Ranked Least Prosperous Nation In The World

In spite of our new found status as the largest economy in Africa, Nigeria has been ranked as one of the world's 2014 least prosperous countries.
According to a report released by UK based Legatum Institute, a research organization that documents annual prosperity indicators around the world, Nigeria is the 125th out of 142 countries surveyed. Despite Nigeria's acclaimed $510bn economy, the nation also failed to make the list's Top 10 most prosperous countries in Africa, a league that was dominated by Botswana and South Africa.
