A pregnant woman identified as Kafayat Somoye and her 5 year old
daughter, Ganiyat, were killed after a building said to be 70 yearsold, collapsed at Onifufu/Aderupaba compound in Oke-Ijeun area of Abeokuta, Ogun state yesterday March 24th.
Eyewitnesses say the building unexpectedly caved in, killing the woman and her daughter instantly. The woman who is a petty trader was taking her daughter to school when the incident happened.
